I wish upon

A star so bright

My life would run through

5 red lights

And narrowly escape

Time and space 

Left alone in utter disgrace

And there I rest

Amidst chards of minutes misspent

Left alone to repent

Yet that option I dismiss

Life is too dear to be left

That undressed

Harmonize notes and voices free

Until in quiet verse does declare
