As if it never happened

Did it?

The tides of struggle

Success,

Failure,

Burned deeply into the soul,

All toll they said

He never did live

Nor did he see

The beginning

Of relief

Or was it that he did

And did in fact live to the utmost of life’s generosity

But worry not because his life means nothing

To yours or other, you see

There yours to see, believe and run to the edge off an oceans

Furious sea

So run and then run some more

It’s yours to see till never more

Till never more

Requiem:

Been said I’m dead and that’s the end

But if it known

I’m still here but old

And if it said

One day’s end will bend

And I’ll be done

So don’t cry to long

Because no longer will I belong

To this space

But, another place

Out there in space

Like I said

I’ve got better places to go

I’ve got better places to go

Better places to go….

The Pass

What pass was it?

Where the road rose up

And dipped

Within

The hollow of life everlasting my friend

With no end

So within your world or mine

Is that where we should reside

Or should

… oh crap

Pulsing Dances

Twilight…

Headlights bright

Blurs one’s view

But not of memories clearest sight

Memories trances

Rest in pulsing dances

To rocks distant drums

That give orders to hearts and feet

With hostile beats

Such was a time

When life was money poor

But rich with lavish soul

Imagine that, even if you’re one who’s quite evolved…

But never old

I state my case

Every shadow knows another

Every enemy knows their fate

Every fate tastes the sweet joy of love

Remorse, kindness and lastly

A fall 3 D season to drive through to fill ones soul,

With colors rich and yet to unfold

So there it is,

Times clock ticks for all

And for all, times are met, in a colorful last fall

I state my case, winded but  ….

For those left adrift to mend their souls

Whos’ going to…

Who’s going to love you?

You need to know!

Mom and Dad for sure, are in the mix

Aunts or Uncles can add to the marching list

Or a boy or girl you met last fall

A dog or cat or something like that

You need to know

Who’s going to love you?

But first one must know

Your-self comes first!

Then all others will line up behind you, just so!

Sharp Day

When the sharp day ends

And the dull night begins

I grab a drink

And gaze into clouds

Into where

Life begins

It’s there where my thoughts are bare

Exposed for all the cosmos’s shepherds

To reel me in to be fair

Oh how I wonder what waits for me there

When I slip from earth’s harsh glare

It’s there where I want to reside

Where time and place for me are, set aside

There I will roam so free

Amongst the spirits who have come before me

I hope I see old friends, I knew

Like the ones my dreams have to me, so

I wonder what they would say about me

Living longer than most would care to see

But alas I’m afraid the die is cast

Tomorrows sharp day will cut another path

Until it too rests amongst life’s deceased fools

Who dance within the cosmos’s other souls

So rest my friends and know that all is, and will come to an end

You see

Or a moment only

Until the stars grab your life’s book, wholly

And welcome you, until end of time

Of present and past lives

Of yours’ and……of course mine

When was it

When was it

We lost feeling strong?

When we lost knowing about

Right and wrong

And made Strawberry Fields’s

Hallowed ground!

A memorial to a famous writers, deafening sound

Where imagine wasn’t just a trite phrase

But the only hope for human days

When was it we traded our loud sound?

And marched instead to hallowed ground

Where we once knew a meadow

To run through the night

And gangly legs danced, with great delight

When was it we lost our way

Yielding to a tearful reminder of a greatness’-day

Now a place of sleeping till judgement day

Imagine that, imagine this, Imagine if John

Had raised his mighty fists!

Waters Edge

I need to stand by water’s edge

Where natures cure wraps its soothing salty brine

Around my ankles,

And forgives my life

In and out the tide does leap

White caps whipping

My dreams

To deep sleep

Out they go within the tides flow

To where exactly, I don’t know

Rid of them I thought, but then they soon return

To and fro the melody plays on, all moonlight-night long

I need to stand at water’s edge

Inhaling salty scents from heavens breath

Lamenting times lost, thought forever

Yet tides of foam roll them back in, holding forgiveness’s within

Dreams once thought lost

Now wrap my face in salty reunions of foam and mist Were really, only, temporarily

Lonesome Roads

I’m old and been around allot of lonesome roads

But what I’ll say

Is it ain’t everyday

I had the thunder

I saw the lightening

I felt the earth tremble under my feet

Ah

So there it is

I am just part of life’s

Never ending bridge

To next I say

After the last day

Much will take me to wherever

Any and alllll

Days

To any and all days

I just hope you’re

Around to staaaayyyyy
