Oh Boy

What a ride this has been

From a wooden bumper ride

To a blue van

From a small place

Maybe the smallest of places but it was ours

Then to another, larger, for a year that’s all

And after 12 or so we left with 2 kids in our arms

Oh boy

What a ride this had been

Ups and down, where to begin

To our first house for ever

Oh boy then apart for 12

Back again for more

And now add about 12 more

Oh boy

What a ride

It may last for years

Or months

Or days

But oh say
