OH 2

Oh what they say

Is your world today?

Is your life what you wanted

With all the wrinkles, assorted

Would you change a thing?

Would you trade a love?

For other memories, begin

Or like to float above the stars

In the cradle of creators arms

And reach down, way down below

Into what you left

And won’t go to

But ah such a send

Off you’d say

You’ll miss a redundant, new day

But float within the times- light

And breathe deeply into the lime light

And kiss the stone of heavens might

Till you’re rescued from

The evenings light

Breaths Beast

In the end, all is known

Less or more, no difference is sewn

All tales of folk

Of risk and harmony’s song

Rest within

Aged bones

Come now

Help an aged man to his place

At the table of no disgrace, but where

Spirits are told

And songs are so bold

And the rest of breath’s beast beats

Untold

Eye

I opened my eyes for the first time,

And saw the world

My child opened their eyes for their first time;

And I saw the world anew

I closed my eyes for the last time:

And I saw, what I always knew…..

As I

As I roam

Around the way,

From birth to death

And all that came,

Between the goal posts, of a writers mess

I stumbled on this,

And that, you see

But most of all

My time with you

That made me mostly blue

But red and green

And happier then, I’ve ever been

So let’s

Just say

Birth is just a lonely day

And death is just

A new day

And lucky I am

To have had it all

I say…

This Page

Gets looked at by many near and far though no one declares who they are.

It pleases me people visit and enjoy the free looks. However everyone takes/looks etc my work but with no thanks or comments. Why? Shy? Don’t be ridiculous. It’s art and in the eye of the beholder.

I have not decided to close this website down, yet. However I am leaning toward doin so if most visiting don’t have the courtesy to say that they have. There’s a contact form. Please use it, whomever you are. I will respond. It’s your choice, one-way or the other.

Many Thanks

I’m

I’m made up of

What I’ve eaten

You are also

Of what I’ve been thinking

You are too

I’m made up of the stars above

Of the earth below

Of the times of strain.

Of when there was, vain

So look at what you want

Eat it deep in thought

For one day it will tell you

What is is

You need to do

Oh!

Oh, how they grew

From tumble weeds

To rolling stones

And then bits, each, of me and you

Oh how they flew

From tiny steps to leaps and bounds

And over hurdles so sound, ly

Away from me and you

And so what did we do

Me and you

But make the world brighter

By lifting many a finger

Oh how they flew, grew

From me and you

Aging Rock Star

The aging rock star

Sat

His darling groupie

Got old and fat

His wrists would still roll around beating out

A drummer’s sound

The band went flat

The time met up with

No regard

Oh how old we get

With or without

Permission, yet

The aging rock star

Sent his wife a text

I’ll be back when the life of me

Is left

On a wooden stage

Lit with lights

Exposing innocent

Hidden delicious delights.
