I fell from grace
Sense
It all makes sense, now
Suicide
How cruel the night
I guess
I guess
It was the march
Of thirty dusty nights
I say it was one day
That lasted a lifetimes
Morning glory, say
I think today is mine
And yours
For all of what I do, adore
I think, too much
Of when I rolled in the mornings dust
When time was forever
When the sun was never
To darken our hearts
I was one of
An army of souls
That marched from dawn
Till dark nights empty tolls
And when that sun
Comes back to see what
Was undone
I hope and pray
I was one who fought for the day
Fought for the day
When we
And you
Stole the sun’s mighty duel
And aimed it towards the stars out there
In a world where Sir Galahad
Ran and ran
Till all the time slipped from sand
Oh I am just a simple son
Born to grasp and hold
And cherish the new dawn’s burning sun
So let me go, let my soul
Hide amongst where I‘ve been and told
Of a child left alone
Let me go
To drift
Among the stars bright paths dots
For I will always find you and all
Who played with me
In this world of
Mankind
Where we danced, alone, untold
And into the path of my evermore
Evermore…….
Progress and Progressives
Of left’s and rights
Are we made,
Progressives all
Unless Amish resting in shade
Of lefts and rights
Hands on the wheel
Tugging one way
Then back with feel
Of lefts and rights
Do we turn,
If one, only
Or the other, then
Turns in circles do we begin
Of lefts and rights
Feet on the gas
Yet one holds us back,
on the brakes, gentle drag
Of lefts and rights do we all proceed?
Progressing ever forward
To where we need
No longer do we sleep in caves,
nor under moon light unless we please
To rest and recreate
Far from the stars
Five star hotels are better by far
Of lefts and rights
We shop for food?
No need to farm, to feed our brood
Of lefts and rights are we all one kind
Rolling together to see what we find
Of lefts and rights, are we one
Progressives all
Leaving history’s past, held in books,
resting on shelves in libraries dust
Of lefts and rights do we move ahead?
Yes, as nature dictates, in a left and right
winding trend!

The Curb
The curb:
I don’t know,
when
I lost the place
too
Might have been when the sun never ends
Or among a mountains cool dew
I had it once
And then,
Not
Time just sped by
And disappeared, spent and hot
It raced from here to there
Leaving flecks of moments of care
Strewn about a wandering mind
I wonder now
Was it real?
Was it mine?
Or was my time borrowed from
A place called kind
A concrete curb, a telephone pole to hold me up
Damn it to hell this seat I have is hard and rough
But it’s mine
And here I sit
Alone, or not
Won’t you join me?
For a moment or two
Not long, but enough
It’s not too hot
Or cold to feel
Just a curbside look
At drivers at their wheels
At drivers at their wheels
Spinning tires till they squeal
Rolling around on asphalt ground
Might be time for me to make
The train, southbound
And head on down to where sun never frowns
And leave the rest,
I see from my concrete curbs rest
Rolling around
And whose feet
Never seem, to touch the ground
But always seem to be a bit,
A little, ground
Now hear me my friend, I thank you for sitting with me
Will we meet again?
When will we see each other?
Sometime again?
I hope we do
And when we do
We’ll be sitting
On our curbside, concrete bench
Backs to our poles
Feet on the ground

Reckless Moon
Oh reckless moon
Have you no sense
Don’t you know?
What effect you hold
On this poor mortals
Well-worn soul
Oh Reckless moon
You cast your spell
Stirring mayhem
And larceny
On this feckless self
Oh Reckless moon
Is that you?
Who dances winds broom?
That sweeps earths room
Kicking dust and lust
And old age rust
Hi above in to skies of white
fluffs
And hawks and doves who
Rescue fools
Oh Reckless moon
How dare you,
How dare you
Tinker with the mighty rules
How dare you take that which is not yours
How dare you know better than
which
Has been
Solely
Adorned
Oh reckless moon
I fail because of you
And succeed as well
And succeed as well before
Anyone can tell
I rush into the wind you stir
And reckless and feckless I live
What I’ve learned.
